Russell P. Moore III, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Russell P. Moore III provides the vision, business development guidance, and commitment to service excellence that have made Paces an industry leader since its founding in 1993. In 2009, recognizing the many changes in health care and medical technology, Russell guided the company in pivoting from existing surgical instrument repair practices to an advanced service model that could keep pace with rapid changes in hospital needs. The resulting vertical service approach – with reliable inhouse labs for fast surgical repairs – has proven to be cost-effective and highly successful for both Paces and its partner/clients, including some of the southeast’s largest hospitals and healthcare systems. Russell, a proud US Navy veteran (1984-1988), holds a BBA in business and marketing from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Shane Moore, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Shane Moore developed Paces’ financial reporting system and oversees the company’s accounting and auditing functions. Since joining the company in 1994, she has held a variety of internal roles that have been critical to the company’s success and stability in serving its clients in a fast-changing industry. In addition to her financial expertise, Shane works in business development, marketing, and operational support. A high-honors graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in accounting, Shane joined Russell at Paces after beginning her career in 1992 as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand Atlanta.
Lance Fortin, Director of Process Excellence and Asset Management
Lance Fortin oversees the physical operations and efficiency/performance of the company’s 11 current labs. In this role, Lance creates and analyzes individual lab data for operational effectiveness, metric development, process compliance, and efficiency and works to optimize the resources and logistics of our teams, fleet, routing, inventory, equipment, and safety. Prior to joining Paces MedEquip, Lance spent 20 years with several service-based Fortune 500 companies in a variety of director-level strategic and operational roles, in addition to 15 years owning and operating his own small business. He holds a dual bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from California State University East Bay and an MBA from San Diego State University.
Andrea Harrison, Director of Operational Support
Andrea Harrison has been a key team member with Paces MedEquip for over 20 years. Andrea uses her extensive knowledge of the company’s operating systems and her experience in the med-tech field to provide data, sales reporting, and practical support to Paces teams across the company, including repair technicians, sales staff, customer service coordinators, and accounting associates.
Brennan Morrow, Regional Business Manager
Brennan Morrow manages the Paces team of field service representatives and clinical educators to ensure that our clients’ surgical service objectives are being met by dedicated local support. Brennan began his career with Paces in sales in 2017 and has been an integral part of the company’s expansion. A valuable team member in fostering relationships with our hospital and surgery center partners, Brennan joined the Paces management team in 2021.
Christine Hyder, Human Resources Manager
Christine Hyder oversees Paces’ employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, and onboarding of new employees. As HR manager, she is entrusted with maintaining the well-being of all employees across the company. Christine joined Paces MedEquip in 2021, bringing more than 10 years’ experience in human resources management. She holds a BBA from Eastern Illinois University.
Dan Peitz, Director of Machining and Prototyping
Dan Peitz is responsible for overseeing repair and fabrication of specialty surgical instrumentation for all Paces clients. A 30-year veteran machinist, Dan also works on project design and development in response to specific requests from surgeons for specialty instrumentation. Dan joined Paces in 2004 after working as a project engineer and quality control manager for Silgan Containers in Iowa. He holds a BBA from Iowa Wesleyan University.
Richard Arett, Director of Technical Operations and Quality Assurance
Richard Arett manages Paces’ technical team of some 30 repair technicians and oversees the full range of technical projects for the company. With more than 15 years of experience in medical device repair and reprocessing, Richard holds certifications in ISO 9001 (quality management systems) and ISO 13485 (medical devices). Prior to joining Paces MedEquip, he was vice president of operations/repair at Northfield. He has also held leadership positions at SterilMed, Procter & Gamble, and PUR. Richard holds a BS in engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Kristy Brooks, Director of Account Services
Kristy Brooks manages Paces’ account service coordinators as they provide responsive customer service, timely communications, and efficient order processing for Paces clients. Under Kristy’s leadership, the account services department provides support for the company’s sales and operations and functions as the communications bridge between our customers and our internal staff.
